At its heart, Guiding for Good gives our members the opportunity to live out a key part of our Girlguiding promise - to serve our communities and to help other people. It shows what we're all about while forging and strengthening more valuable and lasting links within our communities. And maybe even inspiring people to join us!
During Guiding for Good, Girlguiding groups came up with projects benefitting their local communities. Our goal was that, wherever you went in the region during Guiding for Good, people will see girls and volunteers from all sections out in their communities making a difference, helping to raise awareness of Girlguiding and what it means to be a member. Units received free badges just for taking part.
We still have a number of badges remaining for groups who wish to take part in their own Guiding for Good project. They are free of charge, just pay for postage.
